Summer Movie Club
Our final feature of the summer will be viewed Wednesday, September 8, at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Lori Aleman. All ladies are welcome. Sign up in the church lobby the next two Sundays, August 29 and September 5.
Ladies Brunch
Saturday, September 18, we will have a brunch at 10:00 a.m. We will meet in the church lobby. Along with the brunch we will discuss some of the events coming up in the fall and how you can get involved. The cost is $7. Sign up in the church lobby.
Beach Trip
Ladies feel free to bring the kids on this trip for some fun in the sun at Newport Beach on Friday, August 27. We will carpool from the church at 8:00 a.m. and return by 5:00 p.m. Bring your sunscreen and comfort items including a sack lunch or extra money for food. The cost is $5.
Discovery Women's Links
Each activity, each Bible study, each fellowship meeting, and each program is a link in the chain that connects women to each other and, ultimately, to Christ.
Links are a great place to get to know women we may see only in passing at a Sunday worship celebration. Ladies are encouraged to invite friends from outside the Discovery community to learn a new hobby and enjoy time in a small group setting.

Our Mission:
To reach women for Jesus Christ through outreach and evangelism. To build up women in Christ through nurture, discipleship and fellowship. And to bring glory to God as a church body and as individuals through women's ministry.
Our Purpose:
To encourage women to discover who God is calling them to be through networking, teaching, mentoring, workshops, small groups, conferences, etc. Through these mediums we will strive to empower, inspire, educate, and strengthen women enabling them to serve with excellence and confidence, whether in the church, workplace, community, or at home.
